Case History- Rakesh is a mechanical engineer from Hyderabad who wanted to lose weight and improve his health parameters. He was obese with comorbidities, elevated lipid profile and had sleep apnea. Rakesh was also dependent on the CPAP machine for the last seven years. He often felt fatigued and drank several teas to overcome it. His blood reports depicted high insulin, moderate inflammation, high normal creatinine of 1, high triglycerides of 181 mg/dl, and signs of anaemia that are unusual for men.
