Case History:Manju, a 61-year-old senior citizen was detected with high blood pressure which was damaging her kidney functioning. She had high urine protein and urine creatinine of 33 & 260 respectively. Apart from that, she was also prediabetic with HbA1c of 6 and high insulin levels were elevated. She wanted a sustainable diet which would help manage her health conditions.

Giving her appropriate protein, energy, vegetable, fruit and nut / seeds ratio helped correct insulin resistance. We recommended her to continue her blood pressure medication.
