One can lose weight with sustainable diet without compromising on daily rotutine

CASE STUDY & SUCCESS STORIES

Name: Vanisha

Age: 38

Gender: Female

BMI: 34

Case History:Vanisha was obese with BMI of 34. She had irregular eating practices as she would strictly attempt to follow her religious practices of not eating after sunset. But she would also feel guilty if she wasn't able to eat due to severe hunger pangs at night. She was also suffering from fatigue, reduced sleep, memory retention, and mood issues. She also had digestion issues such as bloating, indigestion and kidney stones.

Approach by the best nutritionist in Hyderabad, Telangana, India: We designed a meal plan that not only supported her beliefs but also took care of her health issues and weight management. We planned each balanced meal and opted her out of such alternatives for food that were prohibited according to her beliefs such as roots and tubers etc. We managed each meal with appropriate time intervals that would keep her satiated the whole night.

Initially, Vanisha was not able to sustain her fasting. So, we gave her a light meal after sunset such as a vegetable soup, cheese, or almonds. Not only do these foods satisfy night time hunger, they also keep us from gaining weight. This gave her energy to work in the mornings and allowed her to carry out her family responsibilities with ease. Slowly she was also able to maintain her desired fasting periods. We gave her home foods and supplements that provided her immediate relief from her pains. Also, since she was unable to exercise much due to her pain, we focused mostly on healing her body and losing weight through appropriate fasting periods and proper nutrition.

Results: With very minimal exercise we could notice her stamina improving in just about a fortnight and her pains began reducing in a month. Previously, she had been taking frequent breaks through the day to manage her daily tasks, but in about 45 days she was able to work continuously throughout the day. She lost 13kgs over a period of six months with improved muscle mass and reduced fat percentage in a sustainable manner while carrying on with her family responsibilities, and most importantly she was able to maintain her weight even during her family vacations and while travelling.
