Issues: Sumanth a corporate professional who works with large MNCs has been suffering with IBS and Diabetes for the last 8 years. He was unable to consume a meal in comfort as It was all being passed out from his system. This made him restless and terribly weak. Unable to eat much, Sumanth had low energy levels and felt exhausted continuously. He also had high blood sugar levels; fasting was 160 mg/dl and post prandial was 292 mg/dl. His was on medications and his condition worsened with IBS.

Sumanth had also developed a weak back over the years. He would experience back pain if he walked fast or for more than 20 minutes. Deepika asked him to record his walking style and share the same. His walking style revealed that both his style & posture during his walk was inappropriate for his back resulting in his back pain. He advised him to incorporate Chi-running / walking methods and correct his posture and style. Sumanth implemented the advice, resulting in less back pain.
Results: Sumanth has been free of IBS for over 18 months now. For over a year, he has managed to maintain his sugar levels at 110 fasting. By following a meal plan to heal his gut, he has been able to keep his blood sugar levels in control. His postprandial blood sugar levels dropped down to 130-140 mg/dl, and his fasting levels to less 130 mg/dl with only metformin.
