Acne can disappear by improving digestive health and anti-inflammatory diet.

Diagnosis by best clinical nutritionist / dietician in Hyderabad India: Specific blood reports, dietary history and lifestyle choices. Since she was in US and had to manage all her responsibilities, her food intake through the day were ready to eat food that are quick digesting. Her breakfast comprised of ready to eat cereal, lunch was a rice, dal and a curry, dinner would be a south Indian tiffin.viz. idli, dosa. Her blood reports showed insufficiency of vital nutrients for the skin like Vitamin D, B12 and iron levels which aggravated the acne problems.

Case history: Sanjana is getting married in sometime and she wanted a flawless skin for the most important day of her life. She approached us to reduce her long standing problem - the acne and reduction in belly fat.

Treatment by best nutritionist / dietician in Hyderabad, India: We changed her diet to whole foods as the quick digesting & ready to eat foods were causing acne. Since her diet was deficit in adequate protein and vegetables, we infused her diet with vegetables, fruits and an anti-inflammatory protein like soy isolate protein and fish protein along with natural probiotics like curd, hemp milk and supplements like aloe, collagen along with Vit D, b12. Since her iron levels were low and she is a non-vegetarian, we included organ meat twice a week to ensure her iron levels got back to a healthy range. Whole foods comprising of healthy fats, adequate protein, variety of vegetables, fruits and whole grains, complemented with natural probiotics, nutraceuticals and vitamin supplements were given to her in a phased manner which helped her to improve her gut health, make her body alkaline and reduce her belly fat. Since she is a young working woman with a lot of responsibilities, we helped her preparing for her week day food on the weekends so that she would not have to spend more than 45 minutes in the kitchen on a working day. She was given some simple methods for preparation so that she spends not more than a couple of hours on weekends too. All young girls have their favorite foods, so we made sure to include her pleasure foods so that she could enjoy her indulgences and still have a flawless skin.


Results: Within few weeks of following the diet, she could see belly fat reduction. However, her acne did not reduce. We then identified trigger foods like eggs, chicken that were causing acne and removed it from her diet. She consumes it occasionally now. After 3 months of following the lifestyle change, Sanjana’s acne vanished completely and now has a flawless skin. Her energy levels improved greatly and she further lost 4 kgs of weight in 3 months and her belly reduced by 4.5 inches.
